While testing a recovery scenario the user noticed that if a node is down and GPFS attempts to restart it, it fails because the GPFS scripts remove any instance of the "n" character from the end of the node name,
Local fix
Problem summary
Code that was meant to strip trailing end-of-line characters was incorrectly removing the "n" character from the end of the node name.
Problem conclusion
The code is being fixed in PureApplication System version 2.1.2.0 in the GPFS Pattern Type version 1.2.3.2
