Error description

• A user was performing a restore from backup on an IBM
  PureApplication System W3700. The restore failed with the
  following error message:
  
  BackupRestoreException: CWZIP9605E Configuration of PowerVC
    failed.

  The failure occurred because the PowerVC could not contact the
  Hardware Management Console (HMC):
  PD-A000133 There is no route to the IP address or host name
    specified for the Hardware Management Console.", "code": 400
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• A timing window during the reboot of a resource that occurs
  during the restore operation caused the PowerVC to HMC
  connection error.
  

Problem conclusion

• A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System version
  2.1.2.0.
