Error description

  • The Tivoli Storage Manager Server Activity Log may show repeated
    occurrences of the following error :
    
    ANR0102E monstats.c(2955): Error 1202 inserting row in table
    "TSMMon.Status
    
    In an Operations Center scenario, the Hub server is responsible
    for notifying the Operation Center when there is data from the
    monitored servers (Spoke).
    This problem will occur when there is more than one Spoke server
    and there is a chance a notification record is trying to get
    logged at the same time by two different Spoke servers.
    This causes the "ANR0102E... error 1202 inserting" record at the
    same time.
    
    The problem is different from previous APAR IT05189 because it
    occurs in different situations.
    
    The error is harmless: the Hub server still sees the
    notification to send each spoke's data to the Operations Center.
