Error description

  • We have an environment profile configured with the virtual
machine name format as ${vs-name}-${hostname}.
After deploying a few virtual systems we noticed that
vs-name is getting substituted with the instance ID instead of
the virtual system name when we have IP addresses
configured to be provided by the deployer.

  •

  • The deployer provided IP address code path needed to be
updated to include a fix to the virtual system name
substitution variables.

  • A code fix is being provided in PureApplication System
version 2.1.2.0.
