APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• DB2 can get tied up in a state where TSM determines that it must
  stop and restart DB2 to try and avoid server termination. When
  this happens there is no FFDC for DB2 to be able to determine
  why it was in a state where it had to be stopped and restarted.
  At minimum when TSM determines a DB2 recycle is needed a "db2pd
  -stack all" should be gathered by the server so some level of
  diagnostics can be performed to try and determine why the DB2
  restart was required. This APAR is intended to address the FFDC
  aspect of this situation not any aspect of the side effects of
  the DB2 recycle on TSM.
