APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After issuing "setmqinst -i" command, the symlink for
    INSTALLDIR/amqmfsck was not created in /usr/bin.

Local fix

  • A workaround is to add the following to the instinfo.tsk file
    (found in the MQ install directory):

    SymLink:
      Name=/usr/bin/amqmfsck
      Target=+MQ_INSTALLATION_PATH+/bin/amqmfsck
      Activity=PRIMARY

    Once this change has been made, the you should re-run the
    setmqinst -i command. The appropriate symlink should now
    be created.

    Alternatively use setmqenv to set your PATH correctly.
