Error description

  • When Tivoli Storage Manager Client on Unix or Linux prompts for
    the encryption key,
    it will display path of the file in question with a leading
    double slash "//".
    
    For example:
    
    dsmc archive -sub=no  /usr/local/tsm/file_name
    
    
    Archive function invoked.
    
    
    --- User Action is Required ---
    File: //usr/local/tsm/file_name requires an encryption key.
    
    
    Select an appropriate action
      1. Prompt for encrypt key password
      A. Abort this operation
    Action [1,A] : 1
    
    
    Issue is the double slash "//" before leading filsystem name
    instead of a single slash "/".
    File: //usr/local/tsm/file_name requires an encryption key.
    
    This has no negative affect and can be ignored.

    and 7.1.x on all Unix and Linux platforms
