Error description

  • Adding IBM Branded Storage Device(s) using SSH Key, the
passphrase field returns the following message when entering
    non-valid characters:

'The value entered is not Valid'

This was changed in Nov 1, 2013 with the TPC v.5.2.1 and is
specific both the subsystem name and passphrase fields,

Improvement needed to add more verbose output to message and/or
include valid/invalid characters to the 'click to get help' icon
    on the screen.

The valid characters for these fields are as follows:

    a-z A-Z 0-9 !#%&*/=?^_{}()., @+-

Invalid characters for these fields, are as follows:
     $,|,\,<,>,[,] ~

Please work with those characters indicated as valid.
Investigation is required to determine if/which characters noted
above as invalid can be added as valid options.

RECREATE STEPS: adding IBM branded Storage Devices using SSH
Key and enter character is passphrase field.
