APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• At backup runtime, the value specified by the
  "snapshotcachesize" Client option when used in conjunction with
  the "include.image" option, will be ignored by the Tivoli
  Storage Manager Backup-Archive Client and a value of 100
  (default percentage) will be used instead.
  For example, the following statement in the dsm.sys (Unix) file:
  
  include.image /client/filespace MC_NOTDEF snapshotcachesize=5
  
  would be used to indicate that only 5% of the file system would
  be reserved to hold the snapshots.
  But in this case, the option "snapshotcachesize=5" will be
  ignored and 100% of the size of the file system (default size)
  would be used to hold the snapshots.

Local fix

• Specify the intended size for the "snapshotcachesize"option
  using the Tivoli Storage Manager B/A Client Command Line (dsmc).
  For example:
  
  dsmc backup image -snapshotcachesize=5 /client/filespace
