• During a manual or scheduled backup, the client may crash with

  There are no specific configuration settings that can rule this
  APAR in or out. This issue is related to an unpredictable
  run-time timing condition.
  This problem is caused by the fix for IT01961 in  7.1.1.0.
  Although IT01961 was specific to client side deduplication, this
  APAR is not specific to deduplication

• Restart the backup or scheduler service.
