APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The mount operation done from the Tivoli Storage Manager - Data
  Protection for VMware GUI using a mount proxy node will be
  unsuccessful if the Linux mount proxy node name contains the
  following string in the middle of its name : "_MP_WIN"
  
  This is an example :
  
    data center node name : node_DC
     data mover node name : node_DM
  Windows proxy node name : LOCAL_MP_WIN_VM_MP_WIN
    Linux proxy node name : LOCAL_MP_WIN_VM_MP_LNX
  
  The mount operation is attempted and will trigger the following
  messages :
  
  1. in the GUI "task details" bottom panel:
     ERROR ANS3126E The node name of the Linux mount proxy partner
                    could not be found.
     ERROR ANS3174E (RC6841) The VM Mount failed.
  2. in the dsmerror.log of the Windows mount proxy node
  LOCAL_MP_WIN_VM_MP_WIN :
     ANS5216E Could not establish a TCP/IP connection with address
  ':1500'. The TCP/IP error is 'No connection could be made
  because the target machine actively refused it.' (errno =
  10061).
     ANS9020E Could not establish a session with a TSM server or
  client agent.  The TSM return code is -50.
  
  Notice the invalid address ':1500'

Local fix

• Run the configuration wizard to remove both mount proxy nodes
  and recreate a new pair avoiding the string "_MP_WIN" in the
  name of the Linux proxy node.
