Error description

  • RECREATE:
    1. I have three Cisco switches added to my TPC Server managed
    through SNMP-only.  All three of these are connected in the same
    physical fabric.
    2. I ran several probes throughout the day with everything
    running fine.
    3. At some point, one of the switches must have been too slow to
    respond to SNMP queries, because this switch went unreachable on
    one of the probes.  I saw this in the logs:
    2014-10-23 05:19:37.374-0700 Agent <switch_IP>is not responding
    to FC MGMT MIB queries after 1 attempts.
    com.ibm.tpc.discovery.snmp.scanner.TopologyScanner getWWN with
    parms Process Processor (Thread-101)
    4. All Probes after this leave the switch in the unreachable
    state, even though in the Java legacy UI the SNMP Data Source
    status for this switch is Normal.
