Error description

  • TPC Fabric Probes need to be better able to handle switches with
WWN (world-wide name) identifiers that do not
correlate to any known switch model, organizationally unique
    identifier (OUI), or brand/manufacturer.
An example of current TPC processing of unrecognized switch WWNs
is shown in device server fabric probe logs:
    <TPC_install_directory>/device/log/<user_ID>.Probe_FABRIC_xxxxxx
    x_<date>_xxxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx_probe_fabric.ProbeFabr
    ics.xxxxx.xxxxxx.log
For switch 5986xxxxxxx4F62 following information will not be
    collected -
    Switch Performance Management Information,Active Zone
    Configuration Information,Full Zone Database Information
    2014-09-27 10:44:05.483-0600 BTADS0083W Some or all information
may not be collected for fabric/fabrics since
agent/agents are not configured and/or not currently
operational. Fabric probe for fabric 1000xxxxxxxx5F703 has
    some limitations.
These unknown WWNs are typically discovered by SRAs and can be
removed by disabling fabric functions on servers
    connected to them.
