APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Reclaim can fail with the following error:
  ANR0101E afrclm.c(2756): Error 11 opening table
  "AF.Vol.Segments".
  ANR0985I Process 2 for SPACE RECLAMATION running in
  the BACKGROUND completed with completion state FAILURE.
  
  ANR1893E Process 2 for SPACE RECLAMATION completed
  with a completion state of FAILURE.
  Error 11 means that the table is missing; however, if db2 "selec
  t tabname,tabschema from syscat.tables" is issued the table
  is shown in the output. But if db2dart is ran the table
  is not shown in the report created.
  This problem will occur if the AF.Segments table is dropped
  and recreated. In that case, the server will not recreate the
  AF.Vol.Segments view of AF.Segments.
  

Local fix

• In order to fix the view enter the following at the DB2
  command line
  1. Ensure that DB2 is running. If not please issue:
  db2start
  2. Connec to the Tivoli Storage Manager database:
     db2 connect to tsmdb1
  3. Set the database schema:
  db2 set schema tsmdb1
  4. Issue the following command:
  db2 "CREATE VIEW af_vol_segments AS SELECT volid, start,
     offset, poolid, srvid, bfid, segnum, segsize FROM
     af_segments"
  If the command was issued correctly the following message
  will be seen:
  DB20000I  The SQL command completed successfully.
  C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\db2\BIN>db2 "CREATE VIEW
  af_vol_segments AS SELECT volid, start, offset, poolid, srvid,
  bfid, segnum, segseize FROM af_segments"
  SQL0280W  View, trigger or materialized query table "TSMDB1.AF_V
  "TSMDB1.AF_VOL_SEGMENTS" has replaced an exisiting inoperative
  view, trigger or materialized query table SQLSTATE=01595
  
  Once the message is seen please restart reclmation.
