Error description

  • Tivoli Storage Manager B/A Client may not detect timeout error o
    
    For example,  although timeout occurs during the VSS freeze
    operation, Tivoli Storage Manager B/A Client logs "rc = 0" due
    to the incorrect timeout handling, as below.

    Therefore, Tivoli Storage Manager B/A Client may try to take
    snapshot , despite the virtual machine is not ready.
    As result, backup vm ended with the following error messages
    which do not mean timeout in dsmerror.log.
