  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The Tivoli Storage Manager server might hang during the COPY
    ACTIVEDATA operation from the primary disk pool if the data to
    be copied belongs to a filespace which is not defined as
    filespace level collocation group member.
    
    In case this condition is true, other running storage operation
    processes may hang and the user could experience system CPU
    spikes.

Local fix

  • Restart the Tivoli Storage Manager server application in order
    to temporary cleanup the hang condition.
