Error description

• Using the Tivoli Storage Manager Web client to perform a NetApp
  NAS file level restore, the restore may be slow.
  
  The slow restore performance will only be seen for NDMP backups
  that reside in a native Tivoli Storage Manager storage pool
  (its for NDMP filer-to-server backups).
  
  Backups directly to tape drives are not affected
  (when DATAFORMAT in the storage pool definition is NETAPPDump,
   CELERRADump or NDMPDump).
  
  The performance degradation becomes more noticeable for larger
  backups with a large amount of files.
  
  Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
  Example from a server trace with traceflag SPI during a file
  level NDMP filer-to-server restore:
  It will show a 3 second delay between the processing of each
  NOTIFY_DATA_READ message:

  delay is unnecessary and prevents the server from processing
