APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Attempts to mount a backup created with:
  - Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server
  - Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft SQL Server
  will fail with one of the following errors:
    ACN0101E Invalid argument: restore (ExchSG/DBName)
    FMY0101E Invalid argument...
    FMY5551I: There are no backups matching the criteria for the
              server name <server name>.
    FMX5820E: There were no Exchange backups found on the Tivoli
           Storage Manager server matching the specified criteria
    FMX0576I:  There were no items found.
   if the database name contains parentheses characters.
  This issue was also described in IC94303. However, the fix for
  this APAR did not resolve this problem when
  using the MMC GUI interface of the 4.1 release.

Problem conclusion

• Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Microsoft Exchange Server
  and Microsoft SQL Server have been updated to handle properly
  db names that contain parentheses when performing 'mount
  backup' operation via MMC GUI.
