IT01681: MEMORY LEAK IN PRP.<SESSIONID>.<THREADID> POOL WHEN SPL PROCEDURE EXECUTED VIA INSERT TRIGGER ON A VIEW

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• When a SPL procedure is executed via an insert trigger on a view
  using an instead of clause, the procedure leaks memory in the
  PRP pool.  If the same stored procedure can be run manually,
  there is no growth in the PRP pool for the session which
  executes the SPL procedure.
  
  You will see in onstat -g mem output large pool sizes for PRP
  pool/s for a session.
