APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• As part of the restore operation FlashCopy Manager will dismount
  the ASM data diskgroup(s) before the storage system
  snapshot/FlashCopy is reverted. In RAC environments, FlashCopy
  Manager dismounts the data diskgroup(s) only on the RAC node
  where it is operated. The diskgroups remain mounted on other RAC
  nodes. FlashCopy Manager detects this inconsistency and aborts
  the restore operation afterwards.

  All users of IBM Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Oracle
  3.1, 3.2, 4.1 who are operating within an Oracle Real
  Application Cluster (RAC) environment on ASM
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:

  RECOMMEDNATION:
   Apply fixing level when available. This fix is projected to be
   available in 4.1.1
  

Problem conclusion

• IBM Tivoli Storage FlashCopy Manager for Oracle  4.1 will be
  updated to perform dismounting diskgroup on all RAC nodes during
  restore operation in Oracle RAC environments with ASM.
