  The NDMPCONNECTIONTIMEOUT description is such:
  
  NDMPCONNECTIONTIMEOUT
    The NDMPCONNECTIONTIMEOUT values specifies time in hours that
    Tivoli Storage Manager will wait to receive status updates
    during a long running NDMP backup or restore operation across
    the LAN.
    NDMP backu p or restore operations of large NAS filesystems
    may have long periods of inactivity.
    Typically this is due to the filer recreating the metadata for
    the restored files.

     Parameters
     hours
        The time in hours that the Tivoli Storage Manager server
        will wait to receive status updates during an NDMP restore
        operation over the LAN.
        The default value is six hours.
        The minimum value is 1 hour and the maximum time is 360
  hours.

  document the NDMPCONNECTIONTIMEOUT option.
  The NDMPCONNECTIONTIMEOUT server option specifies the time in
  hours that Tivoli Storage Manager server waits to receive
  status updates during NDMP restore operations across the LAN.
  NDMP restore operations of large NAS file systems can have
  long periods of inactivity. The default is 6 hours.
  
  Affected platforms: AIX, HP-UX, Linux, Solaris, and Windows.
