Error description

• Symptom
  Using Document Manager(DM) 8.4.2 fixpack 5 to open Office 2010
  with Add-Ins tool bar for DM and encounter the following error:
  code:  80004003
  message:  Invalid Pointer.
  
  Component ID: 5724H9000 Document Manager 8.4.2
  
  Impact to the Customer:The failure will affect customer's
  migration plan.
  
  Trigger
  When  loading DM Add-Ins tool bar for Microsoft Office 2010,
  and in Office options, 'Require
  Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher" checkbox
   is greyed and checked.
  
  Reproduce steps
  1 Checked  "Require
  Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher"
  2 Reopen Microsoft Office 2010 and load the DM tool bar with
  prompt.
  

Local fix

• Sign the DM client's dll DdmAddin.dll  with self-signed
  certificate.
  

Problem summary

• With IBM Document Manager integrated with Office, opening Office
   would encounter COM+ ERROR CODE 80004003 when Office option
  'Require Application Add-ins to be signed by Trusted Publisher'
  is checked.
  

Problem conclusion

• With the fix of this APAR, IBM Document Manager Client's dll
  DdmAddin.dll is signed by trusted publisher.
  
  The fix is available in IBM Document Manager V8.5 Fix Pack 4
