APAR status

Error description

• In WEBi1.0.4, doing query on a field, which is a drop-down box
  for an OnDemand folder as the following steps:
  
  1. Select a value in the drop down box.
  2. Clieck Search.
  3. Make sure the option "Keep search criteria open after search"
  is checked.
  
  If you perform query as the above steps for multiple times, an
  additional drop down box will appear. If you keep repeating the
  3 steps, eventually the original drop down changes position on
  the page and does not retain the values that you have selected.
  If you click on the OnDemand folder in the navigation pane, the
  search screen is refreshed and you can select a value in
  drop-down to search on.

Problem summary

• IBM Content Manager OnDemand systems only.
  
  When the Keep search criteria open after search option is
  selected and you run a search multiple times, drop-down menus
  that have pre-defined values exhibit the following unexpected
  behavior:
  
      * An additional drop-down menu is displayed
      * The original drop-down menu changes position
      * The original drop-down menu does not retain the values
  that you selected
  

Problem conclusion

• Fixed in WEBi 1.0.4 Fix Pack 3. In IBM WEBi Version 1.0.4 Fix
  Pack3, the drop-down menus in the search form are not duplicated
  and retain the original position and values that you selected.
