Error description

  • A call to com.ibm.mm.sdk.common.DKACLMgmtFed.isAuthorized() API
will fail with ClassCastException error.  This problem has no
work around.

Problem summary


    

  • The Java method DKACLMgmtFed.isAuthorized() receives a
java.lang.ClassCastException.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The problem was fixed in DB2 Content Manager Version 8.3 Fix
Pack 10 so that it casts objects to Java String objects instead
of Java Integer objects to prevent casting errors when it reads
data from vectors.
