Error description

  • When compiling with IPA, the compiler optimizer incorrectly
    optimized away some if statements causing incorrect output at
    runtime.

    Users compiling with -O2 might be affected by this issue.
    
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The compiler optimizer was eliminating some basic blocks because
    of a wrong value numbering optimization in the backend. This
    resulted in the runtime error.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler optimizer has been fixed.
