APAR status

Error description

  • When compiling and linking with -qipa and -qpdf2, the compiler
optimizes away a valid if statement causing an incorrect
evaluation at runtime leading to a coredump.

Users compiling with IPA and PDF2 may be affected by this issue.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The compiler optimizer was incorrectly marking the pdf outlined
functions
causing valid statements to be optimized away.

Problem conclusion

  • The compiler has been fixed to resolve the above issue.
