APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The XL Mass library fileset, 'xlmass.9.1.0', was not packaged in
the V16.1.0.4 and V16.1.0.5 PTF releases for XL C/C++ for AIX,
V16.1.  No new content has been integrated into the XL MASS
libary since the GA release of V16.1.0.0, therefore using the XL
MASS fileset from V16.1.0.0-V16.1.0.3 with V16.1.0.4 or
V16.1.0.5 is supported.

Local fix

  • Use older GA/PTF release of XLMASS

Problem summary

  • PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
XL MASS library filesets not included in previous PTFs.

USERS AFFECTED:
Users updating a GA installation to PTF V16.1.0.4 or V16.1.0.5.

Problem conclusion

  • The XL MASS library is now again packaged in the XL compiler
PTF.
