Error description

  • When Computer System Sensors run they now execute a command to
get awsInstanceId which is found to be hanging for few minutes
in some cases and then prints error message "WARN
cdb.ComputerSystemAgent - Can not get instance Id" in the sensor
log. This may delay the sensor run times and may create
performance issues. The solution for this will be that if the
user does not use AWS EC2 targets, then for performance purpose,
this command can be disabled through property
    "com.collation.discover.agent.sys.ComputerSystem.FindAwsInstan
ceId" in collation.properties. The default value of this
property will be false and in this case it will disable these
commands. If user wants to use AWS EC2 targets or AWSSensor ,
then user will need to set the property to true.
