APAR status

Error description

  • Problem Description: sensorCommon.ps1 of SqlServerSensor returns
the error messages in the params if the SQL tools are not
installed or found. This output is interpreted by
scriptRunner.bat of the ASD package and SqlServerSensor is
invoked on the targets even if Microsoft SQL is not installed.
As a part of this APAR, sensorCommon.ps1 will be changed so that
 if SQLTools are not found on the target, then no params are
returned and SqlServerSensor is not invoked in case of ASD
discovery.

Problem summary

  • sensorCommon.ps1 of SqlServerSensor returns the error messages
