  • This APAR provides toleration of CICS TS v5.5 FOR CICS CM V5.4.

Problem summary


    

  • New function has been added to tolerate CICS TS 5.5.
- CICS Explorer combined views for CSDLIST/RESDESC and
CSDGROUP/RESGROUP have been replaced with separate views for
each type.
- A new JOBUSERID attribute on TD queues has been added.
When connected to a CM server running inside CICS TS v5.4 or
earlier, it is not possible to do anything with this new
attribute - you get the same views and editors as you would if a
CICS Explorer v5.5 were connected to a v5.4 WUI.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The plug-in has been updated to tolerate CICS TS 5.5.
.
This fix will be made available in Version 5.4.0.6 of the CICS
Configuration Manager plug-in for CICS Explorer.
