APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The underlying view that is used for search is using contextIp
and not the interface list but the contextIP is not really the
IP, especially for virtualized devices.

So, the view DM_SEARCH_BASIC_V has to be updated to include
interfaces list.

Changing the view leads to certain duplicate results when search
is used. So, changes have to be done to show only distinct
values in the result.

This will allow search based on the interfaces IP.

Problem summary

  • The view DM_SEARCH_BASIC_V needs to be updated to include
interfaces list. This is because this view that is used for
search using contextIp and not the interface list. The
contextIP is not really the IP, especially for virtualized
devices.
Changing the view leads to certain duplicate results when search
is used. So, changes have to be done to show only distinct
values in the result.
This will allow search based on the interfaces IP.
