IJ03788: IN 7.3.0.4 THE ORACLE SENSOR FAILS WITH CTJTD0467W.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After upgrading to TADDM 7.3.0.4 the following error occurs
  when running the Oracle Sensor - "CTJTD0467W The file Oracle
  JDBC JAR that the sensor requires was not found"
  
  This occurs because the plugin ID changed to 1.0.1 for the
  oracle sensor;
  
  $COLLATION_HOME/osgi/plugins/com.ibm.cdb.discover.sensor.app.db.
  oracle.oraclecommon_1.0.1/lib/oracle
  
  whereas prior to FP4 the directory was 1.0.0.
  
  The intent of this APAR will be to copy drivers from
  previous plugin whenever the plugin version changes in a future
  fix pack.
  
  The documentation will also be updated to reflect the directory
  name change FP4+.
  

Local fix

• To correct this issue, copy JDBC driver file, for example
  classes12.jar, or ojdbc7.jar file from;
  COLLATION_HOME/osgi/plugins/com.ibm.cdb.discover.sensor.app.db.o
  racle.oraclecommon_1.0.0/lib/oracle to
  COLLATION_HOME/osgi/plugins/com.ibm.cdb.discover.sensor.app.db.o
  racle.oraclecommon_1.0.1/lib/oracle
  
  on your discovery server.
  
  additionally if you copy a file that is not listed in;
  COLLATION_HOME/osgi/plugins/com.ibm.cdb.discover.sensor.app.db.o
  racle.oraclecommon_1.0.1/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF you will need to
  add it there as well as documented in;

  Restart TADDM on the discovery server after making these
  changes.
