APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • For example, if discovering a Nexus chassis and all IPs are in
scope, the last IP that runs becomes the FQDN of the chassis
regardless of whether it is a virtual interface or not.

To resolve this the code will be changed to stop discovery
in the case where the context IP is a L2Interface.

  • This APAR aims to to stop discovery in the case where the

For example, if discovering a Nexus chassis and all IPs are in
scope, currently, the last IP that runs becomes the FQDN of the
chassis regardless of whether it is a virtual interface or not.
