IJ02619: EXCEPTION IN FCSWITCH SENSOR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• illegalArgumentException with the message 'Passwords must be at
  least 8 bytes long' was coming in FCswitchSensor log during
  setting the private password for SNMP V3.
  It was coming due to private password was coming as empty string
  if user doesn't set and it was not handled in code. So to fix
  this code changed to handle the empty string as well.
  
  Local fix/work around - code added to handle empty string as
  private password.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• In FCswitchSensor logs, the following error was coming during
  setting the private password for SNMP V3:
  illegalArgumentException with the message 'Passwords must be at
  least 8 bytes long'
  
  This error was coming because the private password was set as
  empty string and there was no handling in code for an empty
  password.
  To fix this,handling for the empty string was added in code for
  private password.
