Error description

• Environment:
  ITM TEPS / SY agent 6.3.0.7
  Problem occurred after upgrading to 6.3.0.7
  Problem Description:
  Intermittenly in the SY agent workspace, the TEPS shows
  Disconnected.
  SY agent seems to function OK,
  THis problem occurred after upgrading to 6.3.0.7
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• When the Summarization and Pruning Agent is selected in the
  Tivoli Enterprise Portal Desktop Navigator tree, the "TEPS
  Connectivity" text box shows "No" even though the Tivoli
  Enterprise Portal Server is available for connection.
  
  
  The Summarization and Pruning Agent sets the tepsConnectivity
  flag as a Short rather than Integer in the Connectivity Object
  which is sent to the Portal Server.  Since this flag is not
  correctly set in the proper memory location, the Portal Desktop
  displays a value based on a randomly set memory value.  In doing
  so, the actual connectivity status of the connection to the
  Portal Server is revealed.
  

Problem conclusion

• In the Summarization and Pruning Agent, changed the data
  structure associated with the Connectivity Object such that the
  flag value is defined to be an Integer.
  
  
  The fix for this APAR is contained in the following maintenance
  packages:
