Error description

• Sending alert by email function fails on a Solaris Tivoli
  Storage Server.  Evey alert message email from Tivoli Storage
  Manager Server fails while the same message sent via Solaris
  Sendmail works correctly

  Receiving the following error in Tivoli Storage Manager Server
  during sending  Alert message:
  
   ANR0422W Session 6636 for node NODE1 (WinNT) refused -  node
  name not registered. (SESSION: 6636)
  ...
   ANR0162W Supplemental database diagnostic     information:
  -1:42815:-171 ([IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/SUN64]
  SQL0171N  The      data type, length or value of the argument
  for the   parameter in position "1" of routine
  "UTL_SMTP.HELO" is    incorrect. Parameter name: "C".
  SQLSTATE=42815).
  
  ANR3493E Error sending an email for alert     ANR0422W to the
  administrator with email
  address    admin@company.com using  the  mail.company.net SMTP
  host server and  SMTP port 25.

  Tivoli Storage Manager Server 6.3.4 v6.4 on Solaris 10 without
  Solaris patch 147147-26

  This issue is relat Solaris bug CR#6847733 IC95179 IC85101
  IC87146 .  Details of affected DB2 version in relate to the
  Solaris path as below:
