APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Similar to APAR IC93918: "DATAPOWER MIGHT NOT PREVENT SENDING
MULTIPLE HTTP CONTENT-LENGTH HEADERS WHEN MAKING A URL-OPEN
CALL" except this is for Content-Length headers with unusual
    case syntax.

Local fix

  • Update a stylesheet to check for and omit duplicate
    Content-length headers.

Problem summary

  • Affected are DataPower configurations that use the XSL
stylesheet extension element dp:url-open with the http-headers
    parameter.

If the http-headers parameter supplied contains the
    "Content-Length" header with unusual casing (e.g. Content-length
with a lower-case L), the header is incorrectly added to the
HTTP request, resulting in an invalid HTTP request.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
