Error description
Processing a response from WSRR server bigger than the (4194304 bytes) default limit of "XML Bytes Scanned" in default domain default XML manager leads to a silent error.
Local fix
* open "default" XML Manager in domain "default" * switch to "XML Parser" tab * increase "XML Bytes Scanned" * click Apply * click "Save config" * do domain restart
Problem summary
DataPower uses "default" domain's "default" XML Manager to access WSRR server. If response from WSRR server is bigger than the configured XML Parser limit of "default" domain's "default" XML Manager, it fails without any indication, and "Request failed to compile" or similar message is logged for a Web Service Proxy subscribing to a WSDL.
Problem conclusion
New per domain "default-wsrr" XML Manager is to be used for accessing WSRR server allowing for domain specific configuration of XML Parser limits, so as not to affect other XML Managers. Fix is available in next major releases.
