• Closed as documentation error.

Error description

• The "Emailaddress"  parameter of the "register admin" command is
  now used for the new "email alert" function introduced  with
  Tivoli Storage Manager 6.3.4 .
  But the "Administrator Reference" manual still shows misleading
  information for this keyword.
  
  Example:
  
  1.) The "register admin" command shows :
   "EMAILADdress
   Specifies more contact information. The information that is
   specified by this parameter is not acted upon by Tivoli
   Storage Manager."
  
  2.) The "query admin" from the same manual shows :
   "Email Address
   Applies only to IBM Tivoli Storage Manager Express and is shown
   for compatibility purposes."
  
  This should be corrected . Now "emailaddress" is really used for
  the email alert function.

  documentations are affected, infocenter, pdf manuals and server
  help

Problem conclusion

• In the Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator's Reference, the
  sections
  for "REGISTER ADMIN" and "QUERY ADMIN" will be updated to
  clarify the EMAILADDRESS parameter and the Email Address field.
  
  The following definition will be provided for the EMAILADDRESS
  parameter of the "REGISTER ADMIN" command:
  "Specifies the email address for this administrator."
  
  The following definition will be provided for the Email
  Address field of the "QUERY ADMIN" command:
  "Specifies the email address for the administrator."
