IC98638: 5.2 INFOCENTER INCORRECTLY REFERENCES FUNCTIONS OF THE STANDALONE GUI THAT HAVE BEEN MOVED TO THE WEB GUI

• The TPC 5.2 standalone GUI no longer includes the
  following legacy functions:
  
  + Configuration Utility
  + Configure Devices
  + Element Manager
  
  Theses functions have been moved to the web-based GUI in 5.2
  and the following documentation references should be removed.

Problem conclusion

• 5.2 Infocenter incorrectly references usage of Configuration
  Utility within the stand-alone GUI [<!-- 89450  -->]
  
  In the IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center for Release 5.2 ,
  the Configuration Utility and Configure Devices functions were
  moved from the stand-alone GUI to the web-based GUI. You can
  view which functions were moved to the web-based GUI through

  To view the reports and topology for the XIV system environment,
  complete the following steps:
  1. Start the web-based GUI.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Storage Resources > Storage
  Systems.
  3. Click Add Storage System.
  4. Click the XIV icon.
  5. In the Add Storage System wizard, add the storage system for
  monitoring.
  6. After you add the XIV system, an automatic discovery and
  probe are performed.
  7. View the reports and topology for the XIV system in Tivoli
  Storage Productivity Center.
  
  
  Error message GUI8293E is no longer valid and is being deleted.
  Any references made in this message to the Configuration Utility
  can be disregarded.
  
  
  The user account is locked after the DS Storage manager password
  for the HMC is changed
  Update the password for the element manager as shown in the
  following steps. If you have multiple users who are accessing
  the element manager and their password was changed, you must
  update the password for each user.
  1. In the web-based GUI, start the Tivoli Storage Productivity
  Center.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Storage Resources > Storage
  Systems.
  3. Right-click the DS8000 and select Open Storage System GUI.
  4. Log into the IBM System Storage DS8000 Sign On panel and
  update the user password. Follow the instructions provided in
  the DS8000 Information Center at this link:
