IC98569: KILLING A SESSION WAITING ON A LOCK WILL NOT BE DESTROYED UNTIL THE LOCK IS RELEASED BY THE OTHER SESSION

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• There is session 2 waiting on a lock held by session 1. If we
  kill session 2 while it's still waiting on the lock, the engine
  won't destroy the session until the lock is released by session
  1. The poll thread should notice the client is gone, at least
  when connection is TCP/IP since socket was disconnected and
  should then terminate the session accordingly. Terminating the
  session with 'onmode -z' is working as expected in that
  situation.
