Error description

  • In a working 4.2.2 environment, the password for the OS user ID
defined as the TIP primary administrative user was changed but
the soap.client.properties file was not updated with the new
password. Subsequent TPC upgrade fails when the installer tries
to export the TIP 1.1 configuration settings for use in TIP 2.2
(a component of TPC 5.x) because the SOAP connection cannot be
opened using the old/not updated password. Changing the
password manually within the soap.client.props file as a
workaround still results in a failed 5.x upgrade.
