APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A QuickFix action is required for the broken subflows
  references.
  When some of the subflows are converted to .subflow and the
  referencing flows are not present on the workspace, then it
  causes the referencing flows to be marked with errors when
  they are imported to the workspace as they can not find the
  corresponding subflows with .msgflow extensions. QuickFix will
  fix the flow references when the .subflow file with the
  corresponding name is found on the workspace project path.

  All users of IBM Integration Toolkit migrating subflows from
  .msgflow to .subflow incrementally when not all of the
  referencing or referenced subflows that need to be updated exist
  on the workspace.

  PROBLEM SUMMARY:
  When users convert subflows from .msgflow to .subflow files
  and do not have all the projects with all the referencing and
  referenced subflows on the workspace, then only the flows
  existing on the workspace are updated. When you incrementally
  import other projects that may contain referencing flows on
  the workspace, the referencing flows are marked with errors as
  they are not able to locate the subflows with the .msgflow
  extension.

Problem conclusion

• The product now allows a QuickFix for each error marker
  related to the missing subflows. When the QuickFix is invoked,
  if the subflow with .subflow extension and matching name and
  namespace is found on the workspace, then the referencing flow
  is automatically updated with the new subflow type.
