APAR status

Error description

• When a large number of virtual volumes must be reconciled,
  performance will deteriorate slowly resulting in the reconcile
  process taking a long time to complete.
  
  While RECONCILE runs on the target server (after being started
  on a source server), a SHOW LOCKS command submitted to the
  target server every 15 minutes will show the number of locks
  held to increase. Eventually, the number of locks held by the
  reconcile process will be so large that the performance of the
  reconcile process is negatively affected.
