Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Toolkit V9.0 using
Euqueue/Dequeue events in the unit test client.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
If the flow debugger is turned on and the Trace/Debug mode is
set to "Off", the Enqueue/Dequeue events will ignore the setting
while the Invoke Message Flow event will honor the setting and
automatically turn off the debugger. This can cause confusion to
the user. The Information Center needs to be updated to
    reflect this scenario.

There are a number of resource name changes between WebSphere
Message Broker and IBM Integration Bus Version 9.0. For

Problem conclusion

  • The topic describing using the test client under trace/debug
mode (40160_.htm) will be updated with an additional note as
    follows:

If the flow debugger is turned on and the Trace/Debug mode is
set to "Off", the debugger will be automatically turned off when
a test is started using Invoke Message Flow event in the test
client. If using Enqueue/Dequeue event in the test client, the
test client will not automatically turn off the flow debugger if
    it is already launched.
