Error description

  • During a filesystem backup on Solaris using the Tivoli Storage
    Manager client may show:
    ANS0361I DIAG: TransErrno: Unexpected error from
    acl(ACE_GETACL), errno = 14
    messages in the dsmerror.log but finishes successful.
    
    This problem will occur if the type of mounted filesystem
    differs from the filesystem type providing the mount point.

Local fix

Problem summary

    *                 subject to change at the discretion of IBM.  *

    The client attempts to get acl attributes for mount points
    placed within of basic file system that leads to an error.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The problem has been fixed so that it no longer occurs.
    

Temporary fix

  • 6.2.5.1 and 5.5.4.2 interim fixes
