Error description

  • During a restore db, there are no progress indicator on the
console output starting at 6.3.0.
In prior releases, ANR4912I was displayed on the console output
to show the progress.  Example:
ANR4912I Database  full restore in progress and DB Data bytes
   transferred  67,371,008.
ANR4912I Database  full restore in progress and DB Data bytes
   transferred  134,742,016.

Versions affected: 6.3.0 and later on all platforms.

  • To monitor the database restore, use the following DB2 command:
db2 list utilities show detail
