Error description

  • The instance configuration wizard on a Windows cluster
configuration, issues:

sc create "TSM <instance name>" binPath= "<tsm install
path>\server\dsmsvc.exe" start= auto obj= "<domain user>"
password=
<password>

This configures the Tivoli Storage Manager Server service to
start automatically at boot
time, but "start= auto" is incorrectly used if the service is
under the control of a
cluster resource.

  • Update server service to use "start= demand"
