APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Applying the 5.1.1 PTF onto an existing 5.1 TPC server will
    break TIP/WAS administrative role configuration.  TIP reverts to
    only authenticating the local adminstrative ID.  This ID is
    assigned the "Auditor" role within the WAS admin console.  TIP
    is still able to look up users/groups against the LDAP server
    but TPC fails to authenticate any LDAP IDs.
    This presents to the end-user as a simple user authentication
    failure in the TPC GUI.
    RECREATE STEPS:
    Apply TPC 5.1.1 PTF to existing TPC server with LDAP
    authentication configured
    Observe that LDAP users no longer authenticate in TPC.
