Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users of the WebSphere MQ Classes for
Java/JMS V7.5, who are using a system locale which uses
characters outside of the ASCII range, and are attempting to
    view diagnostic messages (AMQxxxx).

    This includes users of:

    - The WebSphere MQ V7.5 classes for Java/JMS.
    - The WebSphere MQ V7.5 Resource Adapter.
    - The WebSphere Application Server V6.1 WebSphere MQ messaging
provider who have configured the WebSphere variable
MQ_INSTALL_ROOT to point to a WebSphere MQ V7.5
    installation.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM SUMMARY:
In WebSphere MQ classes for Java/JMS there exists properties
files for each of the supported languages which contain
translations of diagnostic messages such that they can be
displayed appropriately in the user's specified language. The
mechanism by which these files were being created at build
time was erroneous resulting in the messages being displayed
to the user in an incorrect format.

This specific problem was introduced in the code change
associated with APAR IC89515, which was shipped in WebSphere
    MQ Fix Pack 7.5.0.1.

Problem conclusion

  • The WebSphere MQ Classes for Java/JMS are now able to
successfully display diagnostic messages (AMQxxxx) in all
    supported locales.
